George Floyd Not A Martyr

Candace Owens Not Praising The Epitome of Black Men

I told my mother that Candace Owens is the new millennium black woman. I have never seen a black woman so boldly step outside the box. We usually stick to our guns. There is a good 70% of myself that applauds her for calling out stereotypical black people for catering to the bottom denominator (which were used to being). We know to fight the power.

Destruction Isn’t The Way

It wasn’t until other races of people became apart of our boiling pot that I realized that black people are often at the bottom of those races too. Violence is so prevalent in our community more than any other people. I don’t wholeheartedly blame just black people. Please remember the epitome of black people that I’m talking about isn’t straight out of Africa. The ones that I’m referring to were made in America. The means of how we came to be in our nation, makes up who we are now.

There’s massive violence and hate in the black community towards ourselves due to our having to gain respect for our race. Yet and still, I appreciate Candace Owens for saying this message against black people’s will.

The point that I think Candace missed is that nobody thinks he’s a martyr. I thought he was an average guy that didn’t do anything wrong to get killed on Memorial Day in broad daylight.

I’ll admit, I’d only heard the story. I don’t even know why he was pulled over or what happened beforehand. I just went with what was being publicized and decided that it was a shame what happened to that man. I also still think that black men get killed by violence more than any other men. The reasons for this are ignorant and hateful.

I think that black men can be like a weapon in themselves as well because they are some of the greatest influencers of all time, considering that black people have had to come for horrific beginnings in America, from slavery to ghettos.

Unfortunately, I can’t entirely agree that it’s easy to change black people who have been negatively influenced.

Respect In the Black Community

It hurts that we don’t respect each other. However, I feel that Candace Owen’s message was very respectful, it was only honest. Black people are not ready to see a conservative, aka red-winged black person to clean up our mess. We’re going to hate it. However, I will stand by my decision to applaud her.

I honestly feel like in the future, there will be more black women like her. This will be the case because of the lack of strong black man leading a strong black woman. Those of us who would prefer sole black unity, will hate to realize that this is what the world is becoming the more we’re a melting pot. She has every right to jump out of the box. Her bravery is black girl magic at its finest, even if other black girls don’t like it.

Black people have a level of comfort in the ignorance of our culture; that again, isn’t entirely our fault. We dwell in it and remain the victims of it because it’s hard to break that cycle. Also, when black men do break that negative cycle, they become a part of white society. In other words, they’re for white people. It’s like they make a cross over and ‘sell out’ who they are.

I do believe that if black people don’t decide that we are dominant and we are essential. If black people don’t love and respect black people, then we will go extinct. We’ll have self-hate and be the destruction of ourselves, rather than being a union of respectable people, who overcome.
